Am I just crazy?

                                             A to Z Challenge [2013]

I must be. I signed up to do the A to Z Blog Challenge again this April. What am I thinking? I did it last year. I cheated a little; a couple times I wrote 2 posts in a day after skipping a day. It was so hard. But I did it. So why am I doing it this time? I've got a toddler who keeps me busy all day every day. I don't have time to sit down and write like I did last year when he was still a baby. And not mobile.

I guess it's the challenge. And I really need to practice writing. I've gotten out of the habit. As my son's piano teacher recently said, consistent practice is important. If I make him practice every day, surely I can. Well, I can try. Now if I can just decide what I'm going to blog about every day in April.

  1. Ha Ha I know what you mean! I have three kids - ages, 4, 2 and 3 1/2 months and I am goign to school full time online and yet I signed up again! last year I made to letter V, but hopefully this year I will make it through! I chose a theme- phobias- and hopefully I will make it to the end. As it is I have very little time to myself, but I want to get in habit of writing daily and thought was good way to do it!

  2. One word = progress
    Zero words = stagnation
    Deleting words = regression
    Don't regret, progress.

I have to keep reminding myself this with my first draft of my first novel. The #writemotivation folks are great too. My theme for a to z will be revealed on the 21st, but just say it'll be positive words for motivation. Hope you'll join in...and hooe to see you on my blog!

  3. Noooo, you're not crazy. Because if you are, that makes the other 1,000 plus people crazy too!!

By the way, hello *waves* - I'm joining you on this crazy train challenge. It's my first year and I'm quite excited about it all, if not a bit impatient for it all to start!
